Cohen & Gresser’s Paris office, opened in 2014, provides and coordinates legal services throughout Europe for its clients, with a particular focus on M&A and corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, white-collar defense, commercial, employment and labor, tax, telecommunications, media and technology, and intellectual property.
Clients include household names across a broad spectrum of industries, including consumer products, luxury, financial services, fashion and cosmetics, energy, entertainment, insurance, technology, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, automotive and transportation, travel, telecommunications, e-commerce, retail, advertising and print media industries.

Employment: Attorneys in C&G’s French employment practice have significant experience in counseling French and international clients, employers, and top managers/executives, as well as representing them in litigation relating to various employment and labor-related issues such as individual and collective employment relations, corporate restructuring, top management, and social security.
Litigation and arbitration: Cohen & Gresser regularly represent clients in a broad range of complex commercial, business, and financial disputes in France and in the international arena. The team has particular experience with M&A litigation, shareholders’ disputes, and breach of contract disputes, as well as with matters relating to litigation before the French financial market authority (AMF), including insider trading, market manipulation, fraud, and misinformation. The Paris office works with litigators across the other C&G offices to provide seamless representation to its clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Regulatory compliance: C&G provides comprehensive compliance advice to its global clients, including public and private companies, and financial institutions. Members of its team include very experienced former US federal and state prosecutors, former French and UK prosecutors, and defense counsel. Its attorneys advise on compliance with all aspects of antitrust, corporate governance, employment, privacy and cybersecurity, securities, tax, and trade regulations, and have extensive experience counseling on matters requiring cooperation with international regulators.

Technology: The Paris office has experience in a wide range of technology, media, and telecoms matters, as well as privacy and data protection.
