The practice’s full offering covers matters ranging from the registration and assignment of trade marks, trade mark oppositions and the drafting of licensing agreements to defences in high-stakes trade mark and copyright infringement litigation. The practice is led Carla García Benítez, who draws on over three decades of experience in civil litigation, bringing strength to obtaining both local and federal trade mark registrations. Jorge Candelaria-Serrano, who was promoted to partner in the firm’s litigation department in December 2023, specialises in cybersecurity-related matters, including IP agreements, privacy policies and data breaches.
