  • Acted for Scott Technology Limited in Employment Court proceedings involving a challenge to an Employment Relations Authority determination awarding the company more than $400,000 as a restitutionary remedy awarded against a former employee.
  • Represented the University of Otago at the Employment Relations Authority defending a claim from an unvaccinated employee who was dismissed during the covid-19 mandatory vaccination period.

Tompkins Wake advises clients on immigration-related matters, restructures and senior-level exits. It further advises its clients on responsibilities and duties towards its employees under various pieces of legislation, including the Employment Relations Act and Holidays Act.
