Sabina Kauser joined Acuity Law from Axiom Ince in the Autumn of 2023, and is now a key contact for business immigration. Her advice has been described as being ‘very clear, succinct and value for money’.
At Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Lynne Adams and Michael Stokes co-head the department from Northampton and Worcester respectively. The team added Birmingham-based Omer Simjee to its ranks in July 2023.   • Advising St David’s Catholic College on the threatened revocation of its sponsor licence. Worked with the college to monitor its compliance and to put representations to the UKVI challenging the decision. This resulted in a successful result with the revocation being overturned.
  • Providing strategic advice to Turning Point following care workers being included on the shortage occupation list and worked with the client to identify workers who would require sponsorship and those who did not.
  • Supported Leeds Trinity University with its student visa application process by interviewing its students to assess credibility and to provide recommendations to the university as to whether to assign a CAS or not.
