Deloitte (Colombia) turbocharged its IP practice in February 2024 with the hire of regulatory specialist Jose Luis Jerez, who was formerly managing partner at CMM Estudio Legal. Key areas of work include trade mark and copyright matters.
Intellectual property boutique, Erazo Abogados, houses a five-lawyer team that focuses exclusively on IP law, with a focus on trade mark matters. Founding partner Liza Erazo anchors the practice.
The IP team at Latam Law Partners (formerly Studio Andino Legal) stands out for its record in advising clients in the retail, hospitality and non-profit sectors, among others. The practice is also recognised as a popular choice to represent international (particularly Italian), companies on trade mark matters.
RAD/DF’s IP practice demonstrated significant momentum during 2024/25, with the addition of a raft of new clients (including numerous start-ups), as well as the hire of new IP-focused senior associate María José Bohórque, who joined in January 2025 from TV production company, Jaguar Bite.
