Professional disciplinary and regulatory law in London Bar

2 Hare Court


Professional disciplinary work forms the backbone of the practice at 2 Hare Court, with members frequently appearing in proceedings involving the healthcare and legal sectors. Marios Lambis KC is sought after for his expertise in representing medical professionals in misconduct proceedings. Andrew Colman has an excellent track record in defending healthcare professionals before the MPTS and GDC, as well as handling complex fitness to practise proceedings. Stephen Brassington appeared in GMC v Shah, a case involving allegations of sexual misconduct brought against a consultant thoracic surgeon. In a separate matter, Lewis MacDonald appeared for the claimant in Reeves v SRA, a case where the claimant had received an indefinite suspension in 2012 from the SRA; the SDT lifted the suspension and imposed certain conditions on the claimant.
